On Wednesday we celebrated the end of year 11 with a beautiful reflection. The Principal led a service and prepared a presentation on the “precious present”. We reflected upon “what is the precious present?” which we discovered was the wonder of their being. With this in mind we then walked in silence outside where we were each given a balloon, after a countdown the balloons were let go and ascended with our prayers, hopes and wishes for the future. It was a moving way to end a year, safe in the knowledge that most of us will be back again in September. Year 11, it is not farewell, it is see you soon. It’s been a pleasure.
