St Michaels Catholic College Admissions Policy for entry in 2026

Applicants must ensure they complete the e-admissions for the local authority where they live by 31st October 2025.

 St Michael’s Online Form should also be completed by the parent/guardian and a link to this form will be made available from the first open day and must also be completed by 31st October 2025.

This form is where a copy of your child’s Baptism Certificate and any other relevant evidence required by the Oversubscription Criteria e.g. Certificate of Catholic Practice should be attached. Certificates of Catholic Practice can be downloaded here

Certificates of Catholic Practice can also be collected from the college or from your priest and will be available at the open days.

Appeals

If you apply to St Michael’s Catholic College but are not offered a place then you can appeal against this decision. A link to a form to fill in to register an appeal will be added after offer day.

You will then receive a letter from the School explaining why we were not able to offer your child a place. If you then still want to appeal then please email the school at contact@stmichaelscollege.org.uk

Appeals will be held in May or June – a detailed timetable for appeals for entry in 2026 will be published here shortly once confirmed.

In year Admissions 2025-2026 for those already of Secondary School age

Please fill in the form below and send to the school with a certificate of catholic practice (if your child is catholic), baptism certificate if you have one and a proof of address.

You must also fill in the Local Authority form for your local council.
