On Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th June, nearly 150 students joined the College for our induction days into the Sixth Form. The new Year 12 enjoyed a variety of taster lessons which were designed to give them an understanding of the course content for each subject that the College offers, allowing them to make more informed KS5 curriculum choices. The two-day induction event culminated in a team building session which ended in a competitive game of dodgeball which saw our internal and external students working together.
At the end of the induction days, students were provided with transition tasks in their chosen subjects to complete over the summer holidays.
The induction days and transition tasks will prepare our new Year 12 students for the academic rigour of KS5.
