Market Place Activity

“The best way to learn is to try and teach.”

Divide the class in groups of three or four.

Have each group of the class try to create lessons, teaching something new to one of the other group.

(it’s generally best if it’s new material)

Rotate and have each group of the class try to learn from the lessons created by another group of the class.

Then have the students who just learned the material try to produce their own lessons, improving on the lessons produced by their peers.

By having the students create lessons to teach each other the project has more purpose to it and there’s immediate feedback about pupils knowledge.
