Students demonstrate their understanding and progression of key terms and theories through a variety of learning strategies embedded in teacher exposition. What if students could demonstrate their understanding via a technological approach? This can be done by creating an app. POP is a user friendly app, designed to allow students to quickly create their own clickable app, without all the worry of programming. Once it is created it can then be navigated in the same way a typical app would be used. Students can write the content on paper or on a computer, take photos of this content and then add the links to make it ‘Live’. Once it is live it can be used to demonstrate their understanding in a different format, as a revision tool and finally as a way to peer assess. The app ensures that it is Learner Initiated.
