Dear Parent/Guardian/Invited guest,

We are delighted to invite you to attend, what we hope to be, our annual Showcase Evening on Thursday 7th July 2022 from 4pm-7pm. The Showcase is an opportunity for our pupils to demonstrate their skills, abilities, talents and interests for their family and friends to see in action.

The showcase will display the fantastic opportunities and enrichment activities your children have had the opportunity to participate in this academic year and will include;

  • Performances from our Music Band and choir and Art work on display from A level and GCSE pupils
  • Short Drama pieces from our GCSE students and KS3 Drama club
  • Faith in Action pupils on how they live out our Salesian values on their Faith journey
  • Sporting activities from our league winning Year 8 Rugby team and cup finalist footballers
  • Exhibitions from our Eco-Committee, including a walk of our prayer garden and the Superbloom project
  • Mental Health talks from our ambassadors on the important work they do with the St. Michael’s community
  • Masterclasses in food technology and Our KS3 and KS4 debating teams in action
  • Presentations from our Diversity and Inclusion ambassadors
  • Workshops by our trophy winning STEM group
  • Science dissection experiment workshops

The evening will be designed as drop-in sessions for friends, families and invited guests to go to as many activities as they wish to see. Our newly appointed Year 10 Prefects will be on hand to help guide you through the range of activities and performance on show.

There will also be an opportunity to get refreshments at the event.
