Pecha Kucha

Pecha Kucha is Japanese for chitchat. It’s a method that is used all over the world in various industries. The method of presenting is different to typical styles in that it consists of 20 slides, each lasting twenty seconds before they automatically move onto the next (20 X 20). This means that students will finish on time (because they have no choice) and it will require them to be more articulate and organized. Plus, it’s much more entertaining. Of course, you can play around with the format depending on time, or the extent to which you want to challenge students i.e. 15 slides X 20 seconds, 20 slides X 15 seconds etc.
