Arrangements for the start of term September 2021

 The Department of Education has asked schools to make arrangements for all students to have 2 Covid-19 lateral flow tests on the college site at the start of the new academic year.  The first test must take place before students start any face to face teaching and the second test will take place during the school day 3-5 day after the first test.

Please see below for the first test date and start dates for your child. Given the large number of students who are to undertake tests it is not possible to change these dates. In August specific test times will be confirmed and a consent form will be sent to parents via Edulink and placed on the college website.

Please note that careful attention will need to be paid by all parents and carers who are planning to travel overseas during the summer break in relation to government travel guidance, quarantine and testing procedures which can change at short notice. You are responsible for ensuring your travel arrangements comply with these procedures and that you leave sufficient time to quarantine and test if required in order for your child to start back at college on time. We will not authorise absence or set work for any student required to quarantine once term starts due to travel overseas.
