Learning and Progress

What does it mean to be a good learner? As educators, it is crucial that we foster intellectual demand so that are students are encouraged to reinvest in their learning. Students learning and progress is at the heart of teaching, therefore it is essential that we incorporate a variety of different teaching strategies to enable our students to make rapid progress in every lesson. Intelligence is not fixed; when a ‘learning culture’ is established within the classroom teachers can facilitate students’ learning and move them beyond their expectations.
