St Michael’s will be holding an event for the London Schools Gold Club on Wednesday 25th May and are inviting Middle and Senior Leaders to come and find out how Lead Practitioners are used at St Michael’s to drive teaching and learning.
During this development visit you will hear how St Michael’s Catholic College has created and worked with a group of lead practitioners to analyse what makes the difference in improving teaching and learning and how they have used this to drive improvement in learning and progress across the college. This will include how the outcomes have been used to identify and create CPD opportunities for staff to help them improve their practice in the classroom.
This approach is a key part of the college’s success. It has been judged ‘Outstanding’ in 2011 and 2013. With over 60% of its nearly 800 students in receipt of Pupil Premium, the College achieved GCSE 75% A*- C including English and Maths in 2015.
